    Description

     

    The accumulators are manufactured in Europe using the latest composite materials and technology. Sturdy, durable and lightweight.

    Unique in design and construction, this premium composite accumulator range stores the water between the outer shell and the inner bladder. This eliminates stretching and possible failure of the bladder. It also makes bladder removal and cleaning not only possible but easy. Ideal for applications where legionella control and tank cleaning is a requirement. Due to this unique technology it is possible to increase the pressure differential and therefore the net volume of stored water. Horizontal layout with mounting cradle available on request.

    Pair the accumulator with the PV-5 pump to provide a direct connected mains water pressure boosting system. Suitable for multiple bathroom applications, ideal for simultaneous demand.

    What is a cold water accumulator?

    The accumulator boosts the flow rate available to hot and cold water taps by storing water in a membrane diaphragm. The accumulator then delivers this water to the cylinder and cold outlets when demand exceeds the mains flow rate available.
     

    Can an accumulator increase water pressure?

    Accumulators will not increase water pressure higher than your incoming mains pressure. They simply allow the water system to work at its optimum pressure capacity by supplementing the flow of water when the system has open outlets (i.e. the tap is running). When the outlets are closed, the accumulator shuts off this additional flow until it is required again. The addition of an accumulator pump will provide boosted pressure to a maximum flow of 12 lpm.
