Pump Doesn't Start   

 

Check Power Supply & Fuse

230v VAC power supply. 5 Amp fuse. Motor thermal cut out will reset within 1 to 2 hours.

Inadequate Water Supply

Ensure the full bore isolation valves turned to open position, and that the static head requirements for the pump are met.

Blocked Filters

Clean filters, for location see diagram.

Outlet Position

For activation, outlet hose pipes must point straight up.

Flow Rate from Head

Test flow rate with a weir gauge, flow cup or household measuring jug - 1 lpm.

Negative Head Situation Present

See diagram for recommended positions for positive and negative (universal) shower pumps.

Is the Pushfit Hose Connection Loose?

If using plastic pipe ensure insert sleeves are used. See diagram.

Is the Thread Hose Connection Loose?

Check washers are in position and thread connections are secure (do not over tighten and do not use thread tape).
