Shower Pumps

Air can build up in a pump installation over time and when not used regularly. It can cause a variety of issues that are often blamed on the pump. However, a simple air test can clear out your installation and solve the issue - at no extra cost!

Complete an air test!

Follow these instructions to remove air from your pump installation.

1. Turn off pump.

2. Remove shower head from hose.

3. Let hose hang into bath or shower tray.

4. Turn the temperature to full cold.

5. Turn the shower on and run for 5 minutes.

6. Turn the temperature to full hot and run for a further 5 minutes.

7. Turn off the shower.

8. Wait at least 20 minutes.

9. Re-power the pump and turn on the shower to test.

    Description

     

    Leak Detector : the detection of leaking water.

    Application : Complete water detection system.

    Leak detectors that operate through a water sensitive cable which sounds an alarm and cut the power supply to the pump if a leak is detected.

    Supplied with pump sensor cable, alarm and relay. If the sensor cable detects water anywhere along its length, an alarm relay operates to signal that water has been detected, and power to the pump will be shut off. As soon as the leak is fixed and the cable has dried out, the system resets itself. The only requirement is that the water actually touches the sensor cable, high humidity will not cause an alarm unless condensation starts to form.

    The leak detectors will detect very small quantities of water, less than 5 ml (one teaspoonful) will trigger an alarm. Response is fast, typically a few seconds.
