Shower Pumps

Air can build up in a pump installation over time and when not used regularly. It can cause a variety of issues that are often blamed on the pump. However, a simple air test can clear out your installation and solve the issue - at no extra cost!

  • pump pulsing
  • pump running on
  • excessive noise
  • temperature fluctuation

If your installation is suffering with any of the above, it would be worth running the air test to eliminate air as a fault cause.

Description

Logicpress Set : electronic pressure switch control.

Application : Pump management system.

The Logic range is a series of electronic pressure switches that will control and protect an electric pump. They start the pump immediately when a valve in the pipe system is opened and stop the pump immediately when the valve is closed. They maintain a constant system pressure, protect the pump from dry running and reduce the effects of water hammer. They are fitted with non-return valves and have a simple user interface for system status and reset.

Automatic Reset Function : Pump protection from dry running but with automatic reset, enabling the pump to operate normally again during a condition where the lack of water may have been only temporary. These devices are designed to make 10 attempts to start over a 24 hour period. On the 10th attempt, if the condition still exists, ie. it is not temporary, it switches off. A system inspection and manual reset is then required.

Daily Pump Test Function : If for any reason the pump remains idle for 24 consecutive hours, the devices are designed to start up the pump for about 5 seconds. This helps to avoid various problems associated with pumps inactive for long periods.

These units must be operated vertically. The column of water between the switch and the highest outlet must not exceed 15 metres (1.5 Bar) - the ‘restart pressure value setting’ - otherwise the system pressure may not fall to the pre-set ‘cut-in’ pressure and the system will not restart. The Logicpress Set has three pre-programmed restart pressure settings of 1.5, 2.0 and 2.5 Bar which can be programmed by the user to serve a range of duties. Minimum flow required inwards is 1 lpm.
