How It Works 

If the sensor cable detects water anywhere along its length, an alarm relay operates and power to the pump is shut off. As soon as the leak is fixed and the cable dried, the system resets itself.

The water must touch the cable. High humidity will not cause an alarm unless condensation started to form. Less than 5 ml (one teaspoonful) will trigger an alarm.

Response is fast, typically a few seconds. The alarm will sound to notify you of the leak, giving you peace of mind if the pump installation is not within view or in loft.
