    Description

     

    The pressure vessel is designed to provide a storage facility and pressure reservoir for water at temperatures up to 70ºC. Common uses are in water booster sets, heating pressurisation and fill sets. The vessel incorporates a Butyl diaphragm mounted in a mild steel shell. This method of construction eliminates contact between the stored water and the steel shell of the vessel.

    The vessel is supplied pre-charged, but this pressure may require adjustment to suit the site conditions. This adjustment must be made with the vessel isolated from the system, and before filling with water. All pressure vessels should be installed with an isolating valve and drain cock.

     

     

    Our Services

    • Maintenance : To retain efficiency, all vessels should be serviced regularly. Domestic applications are recommended a service once a year, commercial applications are recommended a twice yearly service.

    How It Works 

    If the sensor cable detects water anywhere along its length, an alarm relay operates and power to the pump is shut off. As soon as the leak is fixed and the cable dried, the system resets itself.

    The water must touch the cable. High humidity will not cause an alarm unless condensation started to form. Less than 5 ml (one teaspoonful) will trigger an alarm.

    Response is fast, typically a few seconds. The alarm will sound to notify you of the leak, giving you peace of mind if the pump installation is not within view or in loft.
