In April 2017, the Pump World technical team was approached by mechanical services contractor M.E.D.I.C. who asked us to specify a pump system that would boost the water pressure in a 28-room hotel complete with kitchen, bar, and laundry facilities with water from two sets of break tanks on two water "circuits" via 3 bar unvented cylinders located in the loft space.

We specified two twin pump variable speed booster sets (in a duty and standby configuration) with an estimated duty of 140 litres per minute at 4 bar pressure per set, two double protection float switches, and four 2.5" flexibles. We also conducted a site visit to ensure a quality installation within manufacturer warranty regulations.
