In April 2017, the Pump World technical team was approached by mechanical services contractor M.E.D.I.C. who asked us to specify a pump system that would boost the water pressure in a 28-room hotel complete with kitchen, bar, and laundry facilities with water from two sets of break tanks on two water "circuits" via 3 bar unvented cylinders located in the loft space.

We specified two twin pump variable speed booster sets (in a duty and standby configuration) with an estimated duty of 140 litres per minute at 4 bar pressure per set, two double protection float switches, and four 2.5" flexibles. We also conducted a site visit to ensure a quality installation within manufacturer warranty regulations. 

Sandbanks, Poole   March, 2017

In March 2017, we were asked to specify a boosting system for a large domestic property in Sandbanks, Poole. Pump World's technical team got on the case, specifying a Systempro design consisting of a twin Smartpro booster pump, double protection float switch, and two piece break tank.

I rang up Pump World looking for some technical advice on boosting the water pressure in a large house in Sandbanks, Poole. I needed a boosting system to supply 7 toilets, 5 rain shower heads, 1 bath, 2 sinks, and 6 basins. Nigel specified an energy efficient, quiet-running boosting system that met all the client's requirements - it was then ordered through my local merchant, J & Bs Ltd (Moordown). The system arrived on time and was easy to install. Plus, the end user is very pleased with his now high-performance showers - a thoroughly attentive, knowledgeable and reliable service from Pump World. I will be using them again."

Pump World's Graeme and Mike head to Frome for a Breakfast Morning!

Graeme and Mike headed off to Frome, Somerset early on Wednesday 25th January to hold a Breakfast Morning for the customers of PlumbTech Plumbing & Heating Merchants. They were there to demonstrate the quietness and pressure of Supergen shower pumps and Smartcirc heating circulators, and had a very successful morning as well as quite a few bacon baps!

A circulator from our Smartcirc range gets a taste of the Twitter spotlight.

The pump pictured is the Smartcirc 25-6/130, a 6.0m wet rotor high efficiency domestic circulator, which has three speed control and energy-saving night mode. Plus, it has safe and easy electrical connection with convenient operation. The software in this model has since been updated and can be viewed on the website here.
